Karrie A. Greaves
Residential and Commercial Appraiser, Commercial Manager & Co-Owner
Karrie A. Greaves is an Erie native and joined Erie Appraisal Associates, Inc. in 2008. Karrie is a general certified appraiser and has been involved in the real estate field for over 25 years. Previously Karrie has served on the Board of Directors of the NWPA Chapter of the appraisal institute.
She has been performing commercial and residential appraisals throughout Pennsylvania for over 15 years. Karrie specializes in the following property types: apartments, industrial facilities, mobile home parks, bars/taverns, offices, mixed-use properties, and restaurants.
Heather Hastings
Residential Appraiser, Residential Manager & Co-Owner
Heather Hastings is a residential appraiser and co-owner of Erie Appraisal Associates. A Warren County native, Heather moved to Edinboro to attend university, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and continues to reside in the area. She began her career in residential appraisal in 2018 and joined Erie Appraisal Associates in 2022. Prior to transitioning into the appraisal industry, Heather spent more than a decade teaching at the middle and secondary levels. Her extensive knowledge of the local market, combined with her background in education and management, allows her to provide thorough, accurate, and professional appraisal services throughout the region
Gary Carmosino, SRA
Residential and Commercial Appraiser & Previous Owner
Gary Carmosino is the previous owner of Erie Appraisal Associates, Inc. His areas of concentration include residential appraisals for divorce settlements, estates, mortgages, and corporate relocations, as well as a wide variety of commercial and industrial property appraisals.
He has provided appraisals for lending institutions, attorneys, corporate clients, relocation companies, federal, state, and local government, as well as individual property owners. He regularly provides expert witness testimony at master's hearings for divorce settlements and has qualified as a professional witness for cases in U.S. Bankruptcy Court and the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas as well as many tax appeal boards in Northwestern PA. Gary currently sits on the Erie County Assessment Appeals Board.
Gary is a Pennsylvania State Certified General Appraiser and a Pennsylvania Licensed Real Estate Broker.
Robert (Bob) MacIsaac
Residential and Commercial Appraiser
Robert MacIsaac is a staff appraiser at Erie Appraisal Associates, Inc. He is an Erie native, with over 35 years of experience in real estate-related fields. In addition to being a State Certified General Appraiser since 1994, he has also been a real estate broker since 1984.
His areas of concentration include a wide variety of commercial and industrial appraisals. Bob also specializes in rural/farm appraisals, with additional emphasis on conservation easements.
Bob sat on the Erie County Assessment Appeals Board until his term ended in 2019. He is the past chairman of the Millcreek Township Water Authority and is currently on the Erie Water Authority Erie Water Works.
Abby Shaffer
Residential Appraiser
Abby Shaffer was born and raised in Warren Ohio. She attended Mercyhurst University and graduated in 2008 with a degree in Public Relations.
While at Mercyhurst, Abby was a part of the Mercyhurst University Women's Golf Team. She spends time volunteering at Highmark Caring Place.
In August 2014, Abby began her career at Erie Appraisal Associates. She currently has her residential certification.
Dan O’Brien
Residential Appraiser Trainee
Dan O'Brien joined Erie Appraisal Associates, Inc. in May 2026 and is now a Licensed Appraiser Trainee. An Erie native, Dan is gaining experience in both commercial and residential real estate appraisal while working alongside the company's Certified General Appraisers.
Dan is involved in the research, inspection, analysis, and preparation of appraisal reports for a variety of property types throughout Northwestern Pennsylvania. He is committed to expanding his knowledge of the appraisal profession through hands-on experience and continuing education as he works toward becoming a Pennsylvania State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser.
